Every pitch Klaudius sends carries the same thing: a link to a finished website, built for that one business. Some owners don't reply to the first message, and until now a business that never saw it looked exactly the same as one that had opened it three times and was still thinking.
Klaudius can now tell you when a business opens the site you built them. While the owner is looking, you receive an alert naming the business. Your follow-ups show who has looked, when, and how many times, and anyone who has looked since your last message goes to the top of the list.
What you see when they look
If your Klaudius notifications go to Telegram, the alert arrives while they're still on the site:
👀 Acme Bakery (Leeds) just opened the site you built them. Visit 2.
The visit number tells you whether it's their first look or a return. A few reloads won't flood you: alerts for the same business are spaced out, three a day at most. Under each alert sits one button, That was me, for the times it turns out to be you (more on that below).
Telegram is the only channel for the instant alert. Whichever channel your notifications use, visits also show up in the two places where you decide who to contact next:
- Your follow-ups. When Klaudius drafts the day's follow-ups, each business shows when it was last seen: 2h ago, 3 visits, or Not yet. Anyone who has looked since your last message is listed first.
- The app. The Pipeline shows the same for every business, and while the app is open it tells you when one of them looks.
What it's for, and what it isn't
A visit is a timing signal. It tells you which conversations are live this week, so your attention goes there first, and it saves you guessing whether a quiet business is quiet because it never saw your message or because it's still deciding.
It isn't a trick for getting more replies, and we won't pretend it is. Nothing about the pitch changes, and the follow-ups never mention the visit: no "I saw you had a look". A follow-up that happens to land while the owner is still thinking about their new site is simply a well-timed follow-up.
Your own clicks don't count
The biggest source of false alerts is the operator. You open the sites Klaudius builds: to check them before sending, to look again, to show someone. So Klaudius ignores:
- Every visit before the first message goes out. Check a site as often as you like before you send it.
- Visits from the internet connection Klaudius builds sites on. It recognises that connection as yours.
- The first couple of minutes after a message is sent. That's when email security scanners open links to check them, and a scanner is not an interested owner.
If an alert still turns out to be you (from your phone on the train, say), press That was me on the alert. It's one tap: nothing opens, and the alert updates to confirm it (if your Telegram bot is also connected to another app, it opens a short confirmation page instead). That visit stops counting, and so do visits from the connection the site was opened on, for the next week. The same button is on each business in the app's Pipeline, or you can just tell Klaudius it was you.
You can also ask Klaudius to always ignore the internet connection of the computer it runs on, and to list or remove the connections it always ignores.
Light by design
The visit counter uses no cookies and stores nothing on the visitor's device. Each visit goes into your own database, not ours, alongside the rest of your pipeline, and the visitor's internet address is shortened before it's stored. Every new site Klaudius builds for a pitch carries one short line in its footer, in the site's own language, saying it counts visits.
When a client buys and you take their site live with Klaudius's go-live SEO step, the counter and that line both come off. The site you hand over is theirs, and it stops reporting to you.
Getting it
Visit alerts are on by default. New subscribers get them from their first site. If you're already running Klaudius in the app, they switch on by themselves with its next update. On the earlier one-time licence, ask your AI agent to update Klaudius, and if it asks about visit alerts, say yes. Counting starts with the next site Klaudius builds; the sites you've already sent stay as they are.
If you'd rather not count visits, ask Klaudius to turn visit tracking off, or switch off Visit alerts in the app's Settings, which also shows whether alerts are going to Telegram. Turn it back on the same way whenever you want it.
