What Klaudius does, and what you do
How Klaudius finds local businesses, builds and pitches their websites, keeps the conversation going with you, and which decisions stay yours.
Klaudius is an AI agency that runs on your own computer, on your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription. It finds local businesses that need a website, builds each one a bespoke site from real details about the business, puts it online and sends the owner the link. When an owner replies, it keeps going with you: it drafts your replies, makes the changes the owner asks for and writes the invoice. The decisions, such as the price and what gets sent, stay with you.
From finding a business to getting paid
- Find. Klaudius searches the region you choose and ranks what it finds so the strongest opportunities come first. It never picks the same business twice.
- Gather. It researches each business from public sources and uses whatever it finds, such as photos, reviews, services and prices, the owner's story, awards and recent press. It never makes anything up.
- Build. It designs a bespoke website from what it gathered, in your language.
- Check. A separate reviewer looks over the site on desktop and mobile, and Klaudius fixes what it finds. See Quality checks.
- Publish. The site goes live on your own hosting account, at an unlisted address only you and the owner have.
- Pitch. Klaudius sends the owner a short, personal message with a link to their website.
- Follow up. Many replies come from the follow-ups, which Klaudius drafts for you to approve.
When an owner is interested, Klaudius carries on the conversation with you: it drafts each reply for your go-ahead and makes any changes the owner asks for. Once they buy, it helps with their domain, the go-live setup for Google and AI search, the invoice and any add-ons you sell. Nothing a client sees carries the Klaudius name.
Which businesses it looks for
Choose any mix of three lead streams during setup, and change them any time in Settings → Pipeline settings:
- No website. Businesses with no website at all. On by default.
- Rescue. Businesses with a bad or outdated website, such as a dead domain, a hosting placeholder, a browser security warning, or a site that doesn't work on phones.
- Booking. Salons, clinics, spas and studios that currently only have a booking-platform page, such as Fresha, Booksy or Square, instead of a website of their own. Their website shows how booking on their own site would work, and the real booking system can go in once they buy.
What you can sell
- A website. The owner sees it before paying anything. After the sale you can add an editor for their own text and photos (CMS), online booking, a live Google rating and the go-live setup.
- An AI receptionist that answers the calls a business misses and passes the caller's details to the owner.
By default you sell both: once you've set up the receptionist's demo line, website pitches in your language also invite the owner to ring it and hear it answer as their own business. Ask Klaudius if you'd rather sell only one, or one or the other depending on the business.
What you do
- Approve the day's follow-ups in the Inbox. Nothing is sent until you approve it, and Klaudius skips anyone who has replied in the meantime. See Daily follow-ups.
- Keep the conversation going. Ask Klaudius to reply, or press Draft a reply in the Inbox: it writes the next message from the whole thread and waits for your go-ahead. See When a client replies.
- Close the deal. Agree the price and sort out their domain, and ask Klaudius to make any changes the owner wants to their site. Klaudius never offers a discount you haven't approved. See Your first sales.
- Get paid. Klaudius leaves each invoice or quote as a draft in your own mailbox, with the PDF attached, and you press send. See Invoices and quotes.
What goes out on its own
By default, Send outreach automatically is on, and each pitch goes out as soon as its website is live: the first pitch is the one message Klaudius sends without asking. If you'd rather approve each pitch first, switch it off in Settings → Pipeline settings, and runs stop once the website is live. Then open the business in Pipeline and press Draft the pitch: Klaudius writes it for you to check and send yourself, and an email pitch lands in your own mailbox's Drafts folder. Klaudius also asks before it buys a phone number for an AI receptionist. See What it does on its own.
